The Material Discovery Research Institute (MDRI), of Underwriters Laboratories Research Institutes, is recruiting a Research Scientist II. This position is located in our Skokie, IL labs.   In this role, the Research Scientist II, will conduct research on the synthesis, characterization and catalysis of materials, such as zeolites, polymers, metal-oxides or similar materials, with a specific focus on discovering materials that offer potential solutions to global challenges like carbon capture and utilization and water purification.
